Location and Directions

Villa Margarita is truly the perfect location within the Riviera Maya - close to all the major centers and attractions but seculed enough to avoid all the hustle and bustle if desired.

The Villa is situated less than an hour south of Cancun, Mexico just off major highway Carretera Federal 307, with the small cities of Tulum and Playa del Carmen a short 20 minutes drive away. You easily restock anytime of day, enjoy the excellent local restaurants and public beaches, and plan excursions to all the wonderful attractions this diverse area has to offer - you can even make a day trip to the island of Cozumel with ease!

DIRECTIONS TO JADE BAY AND VILLA MARGARITA FROM CANCUN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

On leaving the airport, turn right (south) onto Highway 307 headed toward Tulum. After driving approximately 60 miles (100 km) you will arrive at the turnoff to Akumal Playa (North Akumal), where you will drive under a large pedestrian bridge and vehicle overpass keep going about 1 mile to the entrance to Jade Bay. You will see a RETORNO just as you pass Villas Akumal sign. There is a filter lane on the left that will guide you into the RETORNO and allow you to make a U-turn in order to proceed north again on the highway. The entrance to Jade bay is on the right marked with a sign that reads Jade Bay and Las Villas Akumal. If you pass the entrance to Akumal Beach Club you have gone too far. Turn into the entrance to Jade Bay and drive until you reach a T junction. Turn left again and you will pass Las Villas Akumal on your right side, then Casa Palmeras and Villa Margarita will be the following villa on your right (about 100 yards after the first villa).
